An unglazed round pot with fairly solid walls by the Japanese potter Kimura Akio. The clay is slightly groggy andit has been used and so patina has built up to make it a beautifully aged and textured surface. Ideal for a strong semi cascade or dynamic coniferous shouhin
Kimura Akio was a ceramicist with an interest in Shohin Bonsai and became associated with the still active Yokohama Ippin-kai, a shohin and pot making club in the seventies. He made very few bonsai pots and so there are not many available.
